Larissa Magalhaes, PhD is a researcher at GCG for the Global Index on Responsible AI.

She has further been a Research Associate at the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV) since 2022. Since 2020, she has been a fellow at the CyberBRICS program, Law School, Fundação Getúlio Vargas. In 2024, Larissa will also start her YUFE4Postdoc by Marie Sklodowska-Curie program focusing on public procurement, GovTech, and responsible AI at UniBremen. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the State University of Campinas (Brazil) and analysed open government in São Paulo. During her PhD, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Montreal as a fellow of the Future Leaders in the Americas and Caribbean Program.
